How to upload files to Teams or SharePoint?

If you're having trouble uploading files from your desktop to Teams or SharePoint, these guidelines will help you.

For Zipped Folders:

  1. Unzip the Folder: Right-click the zipped folder, select "Extract All," and click "Extract." The unzipped location will open automatically.


2. Skip if Not Zipped: If your files are not in a zipped folder, you can skip the above steps.


Uploading to Teams:

  1. Open Teams: Go to the Teams app, select the Teams group, and navigate to the location where you want to upload the files.
  2. Drag and Drop: In File Explorer, select the files you want to upload, drag them to the Teams window, and wait for the upload to complete.

Alternative Upload Method:

  1. Open Teams: Go to the Teams app, select the Teams group, and navigate to the desired location.
  2. Use Upload Icon: Click the upload icon, select "Files" (or "Folder" if you need to upload a folder), navigate to the files in File Explorer, select them, and click "Open." Wait for the upload to finish.

For uploading using SharePoint, the process is the same as for Teams.
