How to add BOSS and BAM and SharePoint as Desktop App

To facilitate the installation of  BOSS , BAM, SharePoint application on your desktop, follow these steps tailored  either on Edge or on Chrome browsers:

First thing you need to open browser and navigate to the application sites: 

Here, I will guide you on how to add BOSS app on your device using Edge browser: if you want to install BAM or SharePoint, you can still follow the same procedure.
  1. Launch the Edge Browser and navigate to the site of the required app; site:  boss.balmain.com.au/boss.  Sign in using your login credentials.
  2. Once you are inside BOSS page, click on the three dots (...) menu, select "Apps," and then choose "Install this site as an app" and click install.

  3. Click on "Install" in the new pop-up window to commence the installation process.
  4. After installation, ensure to select "Pin to taskbar" and opt to "Create desktop shortcut." Confirm by clicking "Yes."
  5. You'll receive a notification in the bottom right corner prompting you to pin BOSS to the taskbar. Click "Yes" to proceed.
  6. Congratulations, BOSS app is now installed on your device.


Here, I will guide you on how to add SharePoint app on your device using Chrome browser: if you want to install BAM or BOSS, you can still follow the same procedure.


  1. Open Chrome and go to SharePoint Site: https://balmaingroup.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx.  Sign in with your account credentials.
  2. Once you are in SharePoint site, click on the three dots (...) menu, select "Save and share," then choose "Install this site as an app" Click "Install."

  3. Click on "Install" in the pop-up window to initiate the installation process.
  4. You'll receive a notification in the bottom right corner prompting you to pin SharePoint app to the taskbar. Click "Yes."
  5. The installation is now complete, and SharePoint app is ready for use.
