Install Canon Printer on MAC Devices

To install a Canon printer on your Mac, follow these professional steps:

  1. Download and Install the Printer Driver Package: Download Package from this link: UFR II/UFRII LT Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.19.19 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 14.6.1] | Canon Australia  and then  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
  2. Complete Installation: Once the installation is finished, you can click "Close" and choose the "Move to Bin" option.
  3. Access Printer Settings: Go to the System Settings on your Mac, then navigate to Printers & Scanners.
  4. Add a Printer: Click the globe icon in the middle of the screen, and in the Address field, enter the IP address 10.20.80.11.
  5. Set Protocol: Ensure that the protocol is set to Internet Printing Protocol (IPP).
  6. Name the Printer: In the Name field, enter “Sydney Printer Main.”
  7. Select Printer Software: In the Use tab, choose Select Software. In the search or filter section, type C5870, and select the driver named Canon iR C5870. Click "OK" to confirm.
  8. Add the Printer: Click on Add to complete the process.
  9. Successful Installation: Your Canon printer is now successfully added to your Mac.
