Install Canon Printer on MAC Devices
To install a Canon printer on your Mac, follow these
professional steps:
- Download
and Install the Printer Driver Package: Download Package from this
link: UFR II/UFRII LT Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.19.20 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.3.1] | Canon Australia and then Follow the on-screen instructions to
complete the installation process.
- Complete
Installation: Once the installation is finished, you can click
"Close" and choose the "Move to Bin" option.
- Access
Printer Settings: Go to the System Settings on your Mac, then
navigate to Printers & Scanners.
- Add
a Printer: Click the globe icon in the middle of the screen, and in
the Address field, enter the IP address 10.20.80.11.
- Set
Protocol: Ensure that the protocol is set to Internet Printing
Protocol (IPP).
- Name
the Printer: In the Name field, enter “Sydney Printer Main.”
- Select
Printer Software: In the Use tab, choose Select Software, and select the driver named Canon
iR-ADV C5860/5870. Click "OK" to confirm.
- Add
the Printer: Click on Add to complete the process.
- Successful
Installation: Your Canon printer is now successfully added to your
Mac.
