New device Setup.

BEFORE WIPING OLD iPhone device

IF your iPhone is backed up in iCloud the transfer will be faster, if not simply use QUICK START.

Important! Ensure both devices are plugged in charging before starting the transfer process.

For iCloud Transfer (fastest 15 to 40 min):

-           Check for IOS update on the old iPhone before transfer

-           Make sure the OLD iPhone is backed up in iCloud

-           if you have no space to back up then just use the QUICK START option

-           Connect the new iPhone to the internet and a charging port

-           Once the phone is asking you to transfer data, choose Restore from iCloud Backup

 

-           After this you will be asked to sign into your apple account

-           Then choose the backup you wish to restore from

For Quick Start (Slower up to 3 hours):

-           Place the two phones physically near each other and turn both devices on

-           Make sure both devices are plugged in charging

-           Select the preferred language and correct region on the new iPhone until the QUICK START pops up
-           On your old iPhone the β€œSet Up New Phone” menu will appear

-           Follow the prompts and there will be an animation on the new phone

-           After this animation pops up you will be directed to hold your old phone over the new one

-           You will be prompted to set up security

-           Sign into your apple id account and chose the TRANSFER FROM PHONE option.

-           Keep both Devices near each other until transfer is complete

After Data Transfer/MFA transfer.

-           Sign into your WORK MICROSOFT ACCOUNT on a BALMAIN LAPTOP.

-           Open Microsoft Edge Browser (ANY OTHER browser will not work)

-           Navigate to your Microsoft account settings (Sign in to your account)

-           Navigate to Security info.

-           Here you will need to add your new iPhone device.

 

-           After Adding the new device, remove the old authenticator
